Exceptional and full of knowledge. Was able to help me plan out a nice small ceremony in Audubon Park. Our photographer was amazing with all the detailed pictures he took as well. An experience I will treasure. My husband and I can't that Simple Elope and especially Alicia for helping plan our our special day down to the sand ceremony…

Janessa & Alicia did great in helping us find a way to have a simple but special ceremony. We didn't want anything too big and they made it perfect. We're willing to work around weather and change dates to make sure things went well. Would recommend them!! Thank you again

Janessa has been there for me since the first day! When I couldn't get the park I wanted, she pulled some strings! I live in Michigan and got married in New Orleans, I didn't want to hire a wedding planner, so Janessa was heaven sent! Then, during crunch time, Matt came through with my last bit of needs to make my ceremony absolutely perfect! What a great experience I had with them!

We wanted our destination wedding to be simple and classic, and Simply Eloped helped us capture our special day with beautiful photography we will treasure for years to come. The Simply Eloped staff is courteous and helpful on so many levels, especially with helping coordinate photography for an out-of-town event. Everything turned out gorgeous!

When my partner and I decided to get married on our upcoming trip to New Orleans, we didn't have much time to plan. We knew that we wanted a quick ceremony with our two friends in a great setting but didn't know where to go from there. When we contacted Janessa by email, she contacted us within the hour. That same evening, we had booked the date and Janessa took care of the rest. She suggested some great location, got us a great photographer (Jackson) and the nicest officiant (Alicia). Every time we had questions, she would get back to us immediately and made sure that we didn't worry about nothing. On the big day, everything turned out to be perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. Thank you again Janessa for making our quick wedding the best day of our "married" lives!

Very little. If our officiant is available, we would be delighted to create a ceremony and officiate your wedding with minimal notice.

We request that you contact us directly to discuss. We take this question on a case by case basis.

We manage all payments online via credit or debit card payments.

Most states require one witness in addition to an officiant’s signature. If you are having an elopement style wedding, the photographer or even a bystander can be your witness.

The process at the city clerk’s office is fairly simple. Make your initial application online and then when you get to the City Clerks’ Office, they will give you a number. After a short wait, you will be called to the window. You will then show the necessary documentation and pay the filing fee. Then you will be issued your license.

In the event that you and your prospective spouse must marry before the waiting period is over, you can request permission from a Judge to waive this requirement. There is no fee to obtain a judicial waiver, and your officiant can help you with this process.

When a document is to be used in a foreign country, it may be necessary to have the document authenticated. An authentication certifies the signature and the capacity of the official who has executed the document. The authentication may also authenticate the seal of the official.

An Apostille or Certificate of Authentication issued by the state’s specific Secretary of State is a one-page document with a blue laser printed facsimile of the State Seal. Both the Apostille and Certificate of Authentication include the facsimile signature of the Secretary of State or his/her deputy.

A resounding 'yes'! We believe in marriage equality in all forms.

Simply Eloped seeks to make your special day as affordable and stress-free as possible, without compromising quality. We believe getting married doesn't have to be complicated. We simplify the process, ensuring your big day is personal, smooth and lovely.
