From incorporating the kids into the ceremony or to re-committ to one another after a hardship (*cough* *cough* global pandemic), there are so many wonderful reasons to re-affirm your love to your honey.

Chad & Mariea

Chad and Mariea decided to renew their vows with their kids to celebrate 25-years of marriage – what an amazing feat! These two had their son officiate their renewal for them. They went all out – from flowers to hair & makeup, these two lovebirds made their New Years Eve vow renewal as special as possible. Don’t you love that fur wrap and the blue suits?

Martin & Linda

Martin & Linda had a ceremony in New York City previously and hopped over from Sweden for a vow renewal to celebrate their 10-year anniversary with their daughter, Saga. to make this event even more magical…Martin surprised Linda with the vow renewal. She wasn’t privy of the plan until the officiant and photographer showed up. So fun!

Jamie & Shane

Hopping up from Tennessee to New York City and pregnant with a new baby, Jamie decided to surprise her honey Shane with a vow renewal. Armed with décor saying “We Still Do” and their toddler in toe, they re-exchanged their vows and commitments to one another. Watch their highlight of their ceremony here, but be warned – it’s a tear-jerker!

Jo & Lee

Jo & Lee hopped the pond from the UK to renew their vows in their favorite city: New York City! Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, these two swept Central Park for their darling vow exchange. They went all out – booked hair & makeup, flowers, an officiant and a photographer. This sunny fall day was a perfect one for a renewal.

Chantalle & Dominic

Chantalle & Dominic had a very family-centric vow renewal. These lovebirds included their two kids and really focused on the family exchanging promises to one another. From the photos alone it seems like this family has a fun time together.

Stacey & Andy

Brooklyn natives, Stacey & Andy, performed a vow renewal in the nearby park – Prospect Park. With 15 guests present – including their three kids, these two re-affirmed their love for one another. From the perfect summer weather to the vow exchange, this ceremony was picture-perfect.

Ken & Scarlett

Another surprise vow renewal! Ken decided to surprise his wife Scarlett as a way of celebrating their 15 wonderful years together as husband and wife. Ken likes to tell the story that he botched the original proposal, which was joked about for the first ten years of marriage. He redeemed himself by proposing again in front of the Eiffel tower on their ten-year anniversary and doing a vow renewal the next day in Paris. After that, he thought it would be fun to do something like that every five years. He proposed again in New York City, followed by a short ceremony with a few friends.

Thomas & Natasha


Apparently surprise vow renewals are a popular concept! Thomas loves to celebrate that he ‘already the most beautiful woman on the planet’ and wants to celebrate it as often as possible. These two hopped over from Amsterdam for a private and heart-melting surprise vow renewal. She was delighted and surprised, to say the least.

Helen & Paul

Helen & Paul hopped over from the pond (UK) with their two boys to elope in Central Park. The boys all wore matching suits and the bride looked spectacular. Her spring flowers matched the perfect spring weather for their amazing vow renewal event.

Sarah & Kenan

Traveling all the way from Australia, this whole family (cousins and all) gathered to witness the vow renewal between Sarah & Kenan. This darling ceremony was full of tears and beautiful love. To anyone who witnessed, it was very clear to see how much these two really love each other. They want all out on their package – officiant, photographer, flowers and hair & makeup. Truly a beautiful day.

Lazar & Jacqueline

What a better wedding gift than to have your husband wake up on Christmas morning and tell you that he would like to renew vows with you in your favorite city? He proposed the idea on Christmas and they solidified plans together for their 11th anniversary in the spring. With their youngest to witness, surrounded by newly bloomed tulips on a cloudy spring day, these two had a stunning vow renewal ceremony.
