Bow Bridge

New York, New York City •
View on Map
Bow Bridge is one of the largest structural bridges in Central Park and the second cast iron bridge in the nation, so lots of history here! Your ceremony here won't reserve the whole bridge, and therefore won't be private, but still is a lovely spot to hold a ceremony.

Good to Know Before You Elope Here

It takes longer to get anywhere in NYC than you’d expect. Even if Google says half hour, we advise leaving 30 minutes or more than you’d think you’d need to! There’s always traffic, an unexpected delay, a car crash, a delayed subway, etc. Definitely plan ahead on time! If for some reason you have a car, we suggest you leave it behind. Taxi, Uber or Lyft are our top suggestions for ways to get to the park. Reminder not to carry too much. You don’t want a bunch of bags, etc in your photos. In the case of rain, we can duck under Bethesda Arcade, wait for the weather to pass or plan for another day. Touch base with us in that case! If you want to stick around for a rainy portrait session (which always turns out stunning!) we are down for that, too. Bring walking shoes if you intend to wear high heels in your ceremony. You won’t regret the flats, I promise! Speaking of tips, we highly recommend them for your team! $30/person is customary and means a lot for the work they put in! Lastly, don’t forget to have fun. This is a day you’ll remember for the rest of your life (in the special way). Breathe, relax and enjoy. You got this. ;)
