Good to Know Before You Elope Here

It can take a bit longer than you think to get here so we recommend leaving 15-minutes or more prior to when google says you should. Definitely plan ahead on time! Beginning March 1st, 2023, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is implementing a Parking Tag Program to help preserve the Smokies and ensure your visiting experience remains superior. Unfortunately, our permit for your ceremony does not cover the required parking tag in order for you to enter the park and you must obtain a parking tag. You can find more information on how to obtain the Parking Pass and other information regarding the new Parking Tag Program here: https://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/fees.htm Reminder not to carry too much. You don’t want a bunch of bags, etc in your photos. If you need a lot of stuff, try to leave it in your car or hotel for the ceremony. In the case of rain, feel free to duck into your car to wait for the weather to pass or plan for another day. Touch base with us in that case! Bring walking shoes if you intend to wear high heels in your ceremony. You won’t regret the flats, I promise! Although this venue allows up to 20 guests, they do have limited parking on-site. For bigger groups, we recommend guests carpool to the venue. Speaking of tips, we highly recommend them for your team! $30/person is customary and means a lot for the work they put in! Lastly, don’t forget to have fun. This is a day you’ll remember for the rest of your life (in the special way). Breathe, relax and enjoy. You got this. ;)
