Juniper Pass

Colorado •
View on Map
If you’re drawn to an alpine elopement with big mountain views and minimal fuss, Juniper Pass might be exactly what you’re looking for. It blends accessibility (a short walk from parking) with mountaintop scenery that feels secluded and dramatic. Because this location is public and lacks formal “wedding venue” infrastructure, we often recommend keeping guest counts small (under 10 works beautifully here) and decor simple so you can stay aligned with the setting.

Good to Know Before You Elope Here

Arrive about 15 minutes earlier than your GPS suggests to allow for mountain traffic and parking. Avoid carrying too much: extra bags or gear tend to clutter photos. Leave anything you don’t need in your vehicle. If weather turns, you can wait it out in your car or adjust your schedule. We’re happy to capture the mood whether sunny or stormy. Bring comfortable shoes even if you plan to wear dress shoes or heels, ground is natural and can be uneven. Because this is public land with no reserved section, no chairs or structured decor are advised. Loose petals, confetti or items you cannot easily clean up are not recommended. For your team: a recommended tip of around $30 per person means a lot for the vendors who make it all work. Take a deep breath, soak in the moment, relax and enjoy. This is your day in the mountains, cherish it.
