Good to Know Before You Elope Here

The Stone Shelter requires a reservation with Boulder's Open Space & Mountain Parks organization. This location offers one- or three-hour reservations. The three-hour reservation is included in your quote, let your Personal Elopement Planner if you would prefer the one-hour reservation for a sunrise ceremony and she will be happy to assist! The one hour rentals are at 6am, 7am, and 8am. The 3 hour rentals are at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm. These are the only offered time slots! All decor must be set up and town down within your designated time. Only available May 1st thru October 30th Alcohol is not permitted on this site If you would love to have your pet at your ceremony site, they are allowed as long as they are on leash! There is a small parking lot next to the shelter, additional parking is available along Flagstaff Road but may require a short walk. In case of bad weather, we recommend that we wait for it to pass! You can also have your ceremony under the shelter, which holds up to 25 people. Since this site has seating, there is no need to bring chairs! This site is truly breathtaking, overlooking the city of Boulder and surrounding area!
