Tori & Carlos’s Winter Elopement at 3M Curve in the Rocky Mountains

You know what they say about lemons and lemonade! Tori & Carlos had the big wedding planned when Covid happened. So they quickly moved on to eloping. They knew where they wanted to tie the knot – somewhere with mountains, epic views, and snow. So they chose to elope at 3M Curve at Estes Park in Colorado! Tori & Carlos exchanged vows on the giant rock outcropping at the scenic viewpoint in Rocky Mountain National Park overlooking Moraine Park. They could not have dreamed of more majestic views for their special day! Where did you choose to elope, and why did you choose that destination? 

Tori: We had to cancel our big wedding due to Covid. We chose the 3M Curve in the Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado, because it is absolutely beautiful. We LOVE Colorado!

What attracted you to the venue you chose for your elopement? What were your favorite parts about eloping there? 

Tori: What attracted us the most about the 3M Curve is that it is in the Rocky Mountains! Our favorite part about eloping there were the gorgeous views and that it was SNOWING!!! We had a stunning white wedding, for sure! 

How would you describe your elopement venue to someone who has never been there? 

Tori: Insanely gorgeous views in the Rocky Mountains. 

What did you do before the wedding? How did you get ready? How did you feel in the moments leading up to your elopement? 

Tori: Before we got married, we explored Estes Park, Boulder, and Denver. We were both super nervous leading up to the moments of our elopement! 

How was your experience with Simply Eloped?

Tori: Amazing! 

How did you choose to celebrate your elopement?

Tori: We went to a nice restaurant.  We were going to head to the local bar downtown, but it was snowing so bad, and the roads were icy. So we decided to go to our Airbnb!. 

What words of encouragement do you have for those considering eloping? 

Tori: Do it! You won’t regret it.
