There’s so many beautiful and unique places in Cincinnati. We have gorgeous parks, urban city areas, interesting architecture, and lovely bridges. Cincinnati may be a small city but it’s definitely a romantic one!

Unique places to elope in Cincinnati

There are all kinds of unique places to elope in Cincinnati — from 200-year-old architectural features to charming neighborhoods and lovely parks, you’re sure to find the perfect place to say ‘I do’.

Cincinnati Parks Garden offers several separate wedding areas, including the Hinkle Gazebo, Vasey gardens, and Ault Parks. It should be noted that seating is not provided by this venue, and any seating brought in must be approved by the park, in an attempt to preserve the grounds. The gardens are entirely outdoor, and therefore best suited for spring and summer ceremonies, however, there are several gazebos and pergolas within the garden that couples can find cover under in the event of unexpected weather.

Both charming and rustic, the Centennial Barn offers several amenities to accommodate any kind of elopement ceremony, including wheelchair ramps, free guest parking, and the use of the grounds, which includes a back porch and a gazebo. Couples can contact the venue through their website to make a reservation. It’s worth mentioning that all rental funds go to support the Franciscan Ministries, which is a local nonprofit committed to serving those in need. With indoor and outdoor accommodations, this venue is suitable for any season.

The Factory is another great venue in Cincinnati, capturing more urban vibes to set the tone for your day. Offering both indoor and outdoor spaces, couples can tie the knot in the Cocktail Garden’s courtyard, then dance the night away in the Machine Room. The Factory provides everything that your ceremony or reception may need, including ceremony chairs, banquet and cocktail tables and linens, and a full-service bar. Couples can make reservations directly through the Factory 513 website. Another indoor/outdoor venue is Mojave East, boasting tons of natural light and a modern, airy feel. The venue itself is a large, open-concept room with an accessible outdoor patio. Free parking, as well as seating and tables, are provided with the rental fee for this space. Couples can book directly with this venue through the Mojave East website.

Where do I get an officiant in Cincinnati?

Most of our elopement packages come with licensed officiant services and personalized vows. Additionally, if you would like to have a close friend or family member marry you, the Ohio secretary of state does issue officiant licenses to those who have been ordained online.

There is no airport within the city of Cincinnati itself — if you’re flying in, you’ll most likely be landing in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). CVG is just a short 16-minute drive outside the city.

If you’re looking to explore some of the city sights, you can take a ride on the Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar. The streetcar makes a 3.6-mile loop from the riverfront at The Banks to Downtown and Over-the-Rhine, making stops at the Findlay Market, Cincinnati Music Hall, and Fountain Square.
