About Simply Eloped

The company was founded by a couple named Matt and Janessa. They saw so many close friends spend tons of money on large weddings that were stressful and difficult to plan. After noticing that many of these friends didn’t enjoy their weddings, the duo realized that there must be a better way. With that, Simply Eloped was born and the two set off on a mission to make getting married, fun, easy and affordable!

As you may have guessed, it will be simple (and hopefully fun)! The first order of business is to decide your ceremony date, time, and location. We also like to know how many guests you’ll bring along. From there, we’ll help you choose from our various elopement packages. After that, we’ll get to personalizing! We personalize everything from the ceremony, to the photo styles, to the flowers. Our firm belief is that your ceremony should be a reflection of your relationship! Easy. Peasy. Lemon. Squeezy.

We’ve found the process of planning a remote wedding, large or small, can be stressful and difficult. We streamline the process of planning an elopement (which we define as 20 guests or less) for everything regarding the actual ceremony including coordinating officiation, photography, videography, hair & makeup and flowers. We’re also happy to advise on the process of getting a marriage license – as the process is different in every state, where to stay, where to dine and fun things to do in the area. In essence, we make things, well, simple!

Watch our video which will walk you through the process of booking your ceremony without the aid of our sales team:

Though, we’re happy to answer any questions through the process, just email us at hello@simplyeloped.com.

YES! We don’t post anything that isn’t shot by Simply Eloped. Meaning, we hope you drool over those couples because that could be you!

Throughout the journey to your I do’s, your Simply Eloped Customer Experience Manager will be here to help! You will be introduced once you put down your deposit with us. The Customer Experience Manager will coordinate your vendors, help to solidify your venue (if applicable), and answer any questions that arise! While your vendors will be your best friends on the day of, in case you need to reach your Customer Experience Manager, they are just a text, call, or email away.

All About Eloping

Traditional weddings are incredibly expensive and can take years to plan. If couples choose to elope, their ceremonies can be planned in a few hours with costs that are a fraction of what they’d pay for a traditional wedding. Plus, elopements tend to be much more personal and intimate. Traditional weddings are all about…well…tradition! Elopements, rather, put the focus back on the couple and their love, allowing the lovebirds to have a ceremony that’s as unique as their relationship. Not to mention, eloping makes it easier to hold a ceremony in a beautiful location—such as the pristine mountains of Colorado or Gatlinburg, as well as a magical beach in Hawaii.

We’re currently set up all over the nation!

From top to bottom, we customize what we do. We believe your big day should be about YOU and the only way we can do that, is by getting to know your desires, needs and hopes, and then customizing the elements of your ceremony to match that.

Planning Your Elopement

While we aren’t crazy about labels (we aren’t a wedding planner, per say), we’re here to answer questions, provide services, give needed advice and do everything we are able to help your day be a stunning event!

Our answer every time: as soon as you’re able! While we have done a number of ceremonies the day after a couple contacts us, we’re able to spend more time personalizing and fitting your ceremony to meet your needs with more lead time. The most important part on our end is for you is to reserve your date. All the pieces fall into place after that one magical ‘click’!

Yeah! We allude to this in the above question and have planned many beautiful elopements with minimal notice. Now, when there’s less lead time, some venues, vendors, and times aren’t available, so there’s a bit flexibility than usual.

If you’re interested in working with us on a last minute ceremony, please reach out and we’d love to help!

We define an elopement as 20 guests or less*. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t perform a ceremony with a higher guest count. Ceremonies with over 20 guests will have the additional cost of $10/person per vendor. For example, if you have the Sprout Package (2 vendors) and have 30 guests (10 extra guests), there would be an additional charge of $200 added to your Sprout Package. Please don’t hesitate to ask us about this! *Guest count restrictions can vary from venue-to-venue.

While we do our best to be flexible, our teams do have other gigs (and lives). Once you book your date and time, consider you locked in for those details, unless we specify otherwise. In the case of bad weather, we can work with you to find another appropriate venue or applicable date.

We’re happy to work alongside other vendors! Say that you have your own officiant and want to book a Simply Eloped photographer for your ceremony – that’s totally okay. Please just let us know as you’re going through the booking experience.

The only country (we’re aware of) that requires special documentation is the UK. It’s considered an ‘extended license’ and we are more than happy to advise you on the process. Just reach out!

Our Policies

As stated in our terms of agreement, your deposit is non-refundable. The reasoning for this is that we do pay some fees up-front as soon as we start planning your big day. We much prefer to postpone if you are able! We do, however, refund in full if you cancel 24 hours or less after booking.

We accept payment online via credit or debit card. Reach out to us and we’ll send you a personalized link to start planning your elopement.
